I've collected chips since about 1978-79, though just casually at first. My first chip runs to LV for chips were in the early 80's. At first, thought I was the only one crazy enough to do it. Was surprised when I found chip dealers selling current & obsolete chips (including Borland's WWCE and Herz' Sierra Numismatics (now Gaming Archaeology)). I wrote about it in the club magazine a while back.
Signed up with Archie's NJ chip service, then joined the club when it first got off the ground. Have enjoyed it ever since.
