Hi Katie,
I don't know how much time you'll have for exploring tomorrow, but if you are going to Glenwood Springs, Aspen is only about 40 miles south on highway 82. A walk around downtown Aspen is interesting and different. There's a store called "Curious George" that is full of unusual (and expensive) stuff.
I don't know if Independence Pass is open yet (they should have the snow cleared from the road by now), but if it is, that drive is south of Aspen, and top of the pass is about 13,000' in elevation. It isn't a drive for the faint of heart, four sections of the highway are not wide enough for two cars.
The thing I love most about Colorado is it seems impossible to see everything. I've lived here for 35 years, and I still can jump in the car a go find new places that will take my breath away.
Flamingo Hilton, Laughlin, 6:30 Friday at the hotel registration area. I've seen your picture here so I should be able to notice you. I'm 6', slim, mutton chop sideburns (I only shave where Larry H. doesn't <G>), will be wearing a white baseball cap that says "Summit" on it.
Looking foward to Friday!
Bob
