Larry,
Those horses in your yard are so cool... (Seriously!!)
Are they part of the wild/feral herds that I have read about? How 'tame' are they? Will they eat carrots and apples from your hand?
The closest I get to wildlife in my yard are lizards, roadrunners, and an occasional robin. I do have a 'pet' Oklahoma Box Turtle. I bought her about 3 years ago. She comes out each Spring and basically lives on my back porch till the cool weather of Fall. She comes to the back door every 2nd or 3rd day and 'begs' for food. For size comparison, that's a 9 inch plate she is eating from. She eats canned cat food and some fresh fruit.
I don't have any cute Grandbaby pics YET so this is the best I can do for now <<g>>.
Later,
Steve in Albuquerque
