Travis; I must confess that I don't know an awful lot about antique poker chips that may or may not be considered "rare".
My objection to the overused term "rare" applies primarily to relatively ordinary casino chips ... mostly LE's .... that some Ebay users like to describe as being "rare".
Some day, some of these sellers will wake up and smell the coffee and discover that simply by attatching the word "rare" to their chips will not get them $1 more for thier chips than if they left the term "Rare" out of their descriptions. I simply don't think it's worth the cheapening of their collective reputations by continually over-using a term that should be reserved for very "rare" occassions.
