I need to disagree with that. There was a lot of bad press, politically motivated, that said such things. The truth is that most Vietnam War protestors (mainly the college kids who were at risk) did not have anything against the individual soldiers. The protest was to get us out of a useless, unwinnable, political war that was killing 500 American kids per week. I always thought that what Fonda did was Unamerican and wrong.
