John, In a few of the casinos in Costa Rica there was some sort of bet like that at one time. In one casino they use a dart gun at the roulette table. The wheel spins on the wall & the "dealer" shoots a dart into the wheel. On the black jack tables they play "RUNNY" which is really black jack, except that you don't get paid 3 to 2 for an ace & a 10 or face card. You simply have 21 & have to beat the dealer. If you get 3 7's there is a bonus of 5 to 1, I think. Lots of the boats that sail out of Miami play Spanish 21, which also has some wierd side bets &/or payouts.
