"THE SLOT CARD BOOK"

I've just received my copy of Carolyn Donley's "The Slot Card Book" today and I'm very impressed with the quality and thouroughness of this most recent reference work introduction to our hobby. The book/catalog is 123 pages, 8 1/2" x 11", spiral-bound which allows it to be laid flat when opened without destroying a back spine as is the common problem with those type bound reference books. Every card (even minor variations) is reproduced in full-color in alphabetical order and the book is very simple to use. Every page (all 123) has a number of slot cards illustrated in reduced size, so every page is produced in full color.... not an inexpensive process. This is a fantastic book for those who are concerned about high chip prices and who are interested in putting the "fun' back into the hobby at very little cost. After all, basically, the bulk of these cards are virtually "free" for the asking at your local casino ... well at least the current cards are free. Slot card collecting has become very popular with chip and token collectors and this book is destined to become "the bible" for those who collect them.

Carolyn says in her introduction... "The slot cards pictured in this book are from my own personal collection. I realize that some of you have cards that I don't have and I know that I have cards you don't have..... But as every collector knows, it's the thrill of the hunt so keep collecting.

"Price of the book is only $29.95, plus $3.20 for Priority Mail.... and well worth every cent. This book has to be a labor of love as I don't think Carolyn will be making a whole lot of money for all her efforts and hard work putting it together. "Buy the book before the card"!

Thanks Carolyn, A GREAT JOB!
