I wonder what ebay thinks of this practice. It seems to me that scanning an item and sending a different one is fraud. The item is partially described by its scan. If the scan is not of the exact item someone is bidding on, isn't that misleading? I do agree though, if you are relisting an item in mint condition that there is no need to re-scan.
