It'd require the mag publisher to provide the mag in web publishable format to begin with. Then the webmaster would have to install software restricting access to club members only. It'll probably happen, but not real soon given that all the people that could make it happen are busy making a real living. Not knocking any of the club volunteers here, they do a tremendous job already. The resources are here now, the technology is too. IMO, we'd have to agree to pay someone to do this at this time. ....perhaps if the same club dues paid were to go to the people that would be involved in making the club magazine downloadable as an option to receiving the hardcopy issue via snailmail, it could encourage the club board to look into the option, as well as entice the members who are now working on a volunteer basis to speed up the inevitable.
