My memory is dreadful but I think these have been shown on the board before. I have at least one of these and still list it as unknowns. Here is what the eBay seller says about them.
This is a total of 100 illegal poker chips, 40 lavender chips with a WHH or HHM monogram, 60 blue
chips with WHH or HHM. We recently found out some history on these illegal gambling chips. We
found out the name of the owner is Wally Howard, hence the initials WHH, who was the town barber in
Mt. Olive, Illinois in the 30's an 40's. He ran a game at Dutch Mill on U.S. Route 66 south of Mt.
Olive, he was the underboss to Buster Denora. They are actually from an illegal gambling house or
club. These chips came from the estate of Wally Howard. Another person who ran games was Heidi
Orr, he ran the Saratoga Club in Litchfield, Illinois amongst other games in Jacksonville and
surrounding areas.
