Jerry,
Just a short "junk, trash" story. A couple weeks ago, my oldest son who lives in upstate NY e-mailed me to ask what I knew about old beer cans. I replied that the only thing I knew for sure was that they would rust, so I collected bottles instead. Well, this beer can he found stuck up between the floor joists in his basement. All he knew was that the type of can, known as "conetop" is no longer made, and it was from a brewing Company in NY, now out of business. Anyway, He put it on eBay with a starting price of $10.00. We laughed about it and decided he could always re-list it for $5, if it didn't sell. Well when all was said and done, the final winning bid was $332.00, some minor RUST included!!!FOR A BEER CAN? I can't even imagine what price it might have been brought, has the beer still been in there.
I learned from George Carlin, a long time ago, never throw anything away, when you run out of room, buy a bigger place, cause...."one man's junk is".....<GBG>
