Don: I am not altogether serious in my "prediction" since I haven't been able to follow the trial that closely. However, my concern was based on the first two weeks; yes, even I have convicted on purely circumstantial evidence. Sometimes that's better than direct evidence. But I think the D-A made things too complicated early on, confusing the issues. I think that since all the defense must do is raise a reasonable doubt, I will not be surprised if there is no homicide conviction. I hope there will be, however, against both defendants.
