Some unusual circumstances in LE chip releases happen. This is one of them. Putting this paticular chip up for auction with an under face value/no reserve opening bid isn't hoping the winning bidder pays through the nose. Hoping that he (the seller) "makes a bunch" is only testimony by someone who is a chiphound for a lot of people, and he realizes the time devoted by the seller to get the regular stuff sometimes makes the grind of doing so will occasionally make him larger than expected (and rightfully due) returns. Bennie could have made the starting bid at 10 times face value, chose not to, and I can't find fault for that at all.
