Dear "GAMBLING WIZ",

Perhaps your website might be of interest to many of the folks on this board. There are certainly many talented and well versed collectors who both post and lurk at Chipboard.com.

IMNTBHO, the cry of 'Spam' after your initial posting may have been caused by the nature and wording of your posting - it also struck me as borderline 'Spam', even though this is a public board.

Just a couple of suggestions...

#1 We're just 'regular' guys and gals (Katie, you know I mean that in the best of terms!) and appreciate honesty. Your posting was more than a little like a late-night infocommercial. Just say it in plain language.

#2 <<<<(My PERSONAL pet peeve)>>>>> How about just using your real name? What's up with this "Gambling Wiz" moniker? There are D.D.S.'s, M.D.'s, D.V.M.'s, D.O.'s, Ph.D.'s, C.E.O.'s, D.C.'s, C.P.A.'s, tenured Professors, Attorneys, War Heros, Professional Gamblers, Judges, Retired Military (Officers and Enlisted), Clerks, E-4's, GS-26's and lowly state and federal government employees on this board. With VERY FEW EXCEPTIONS, once we get on the Chipboard, we drop the ostentatious (dare I saw POMPOUS?) earned titles and we share the common, unspoken title of "Collector".

If you choose to use the title of "WIZ", PLEASE tell us what that means and how your expertise exceeds ours. If you choose to use the title of "Ph.D."; how about telling the board IF & __HOW__ that earned title gives you some exceptional knowledge on CHIP COLLECTING. If the title is UNRELATED to Chipping - how about saving it's use for some other place and someone who cares a "Flying Fantasy Chip" about "Titles" ?
