It occurred to me that many people here have trade lists posted on websites or available for email. The problem is that if you are looking for something specific you would need to search a variety of places to find who had the chip for trade. (Or you could post here).

So I thought that it might be worthwhile to create a database, accessible through a website where collector's could post their trade lists and then anyone could search the entire database in order to find a trading partner.

I haven't done a lot of this type of programming but I am capable of it with the assitance of a friend who does this sort of thing for a living. My friend has already donated space on his server, and I'm starting to read up on the database programing.

Anyway, before I get to far involved does this seem like a good idea to anyone? I'd hate to do all that work and then find nobody using it. If so what sort of features would you like to see in it?
