Surprise, surprise. Last February I was in Laughlin, and as I usually do, I stopped by the Regency Casino to see if their tables were open. I've done this many times and invariably, the tables are closed. However, this time, they were open (blackjack), so I stocked up on $5's and .50¢ fractionals. I got 8 fractionals and tucked them away until last night. As I was catelogueing them I noticed that one was from the Nevada Landing. All are nearly new, purple, H&C, HS-Gold.
I guess it's possible that a player mixed a Nevada Landing into the Regency chips, but is it possible that the chip found its way into the rack a different way?
Any conjecture? Also, both chips are described as different colors in the TCR, i.e., purple and lavender, but side-by-side, they are the same.
Thanks, Jim F
