Hey everyone! I won’t be able to make to the Conventions in July, but for those who will (or those who will be going to LV in the near future) I have an interesting offer for you. There is a newsletter called Las Vegas Advisor that details all the bargains to be had in LV (food bargains, show reviews, freebies, etc). Best of all they don’t have advertising so they can be objective about their writing (I always call them the “Consumer Reports” of Las Vegas). I have subscribed for over 5 years and every issue has interesting stuff.

Anyway I contacted them some months back asking if they could arrange some special deal for chippers that would be coming out for the convention. Their sub is usually $60/y, single issues $5. (with a one-year sub you get a coupon book with hundreds of dollars of free rooms, 2 for 1 shows, dinners, etc). Their offer to us is $10 for 3 issues (May, June, July). In some issues they will include a special monthly coupon (May’s issues has a 100 coin bonus when you hit 4 of a kind at Mahoney’s Nugget). They usually void the coupons for anything less than a full year sub, but they will leave them valid for the three-issue sub.
