I use a Acer 640P scanner and I was wondering what settings you guys use to get scans that come out clear but aren't to big (file size). I can get clear scans but my file size is usually very large. I can adjust the scale (I usually use 100%), the DPI (I can set it to 75, 100, 150, 200, 300, 400) I usually use 100 since 75 seems to sometimes not be so clear. the other settings don't seem to affect the file size.
