SMART and realize they are loosing profits that are lost due to sniping and decide to install new software that will extend auctions for a few more minutes after the last bid was received.

This way the seller will get more for their item and the auction site will increase it's profit(fee charged) from the final selling price.

Then the buyers won't have an edge in being snipers. OH WELL.....
