Hi Roger,

You're right about the razor sharp spines...I forgot to mention that
in my post...when they got back from the fishing trip, they explained
to me how stupid it really was to haul that one in the boat for a
picture...I guess the only thing that worked to their advantage was
the fact that, like them, the sturgeon was really tired from the fight.
It could have easily done serious damage to the fishermen...but you know
how it goes...drink enough beer and anything sounds like a good idea!! <G>

You mentioned living on the delta....was that figuratively or do you
have a house boat that you live on?
