Thank you both for your kind comments. Just be patient, Joe. When you finally do start getting grandchildren, you will know it was worth the wait. But the wait can be somewhat agonizing.

My promise to all of you who are waiting for grandchildren, you can look forward to being blessed far beyond your wildest imagination.

About a year ago, I read a bumper sticker that said "If I had only known how much fun grandkids are, I would have had them first". I quoted that to my daughter and she had an absoultely shocked look on her face, then suddenly she just "beamed with pride" as she realized I had actually just paid her a very great compliment, about her babies.
