My early days were using an HP1000 with a TTY-33 Teletype. Ah, paper tape, continuous feed paper... also using an acoustic 110 modem...

My first home PC was the Atari 800 - 24k RAM. One of the 8k RAM modules I traded (at the store) for a cassette recorder, a game cartridge and two joy sticks - Probably my best trade!!!
Interesting how Atari was ahead of their time, by off-loading the main processor by having peripheral processors!!!

My first modem (at home) was a 300/110 - used to call-up message BBS, as well as a few companies - both computer products related as well as work...
