I was an enlisted in the navy for a few years, Radar Operator, name later changed to Operations Specialist. I served on several ships and highest rank was E5. Later I got a commission as an officer and served in the Persian Gulf, in the desert, not on a ship. I recently retired from the navy reserve after 25 years. I now work for the veteran's administration.
