It was wonderful to have all you chippers at Brockway for the week. Thanks to Jim Reilly especially for his nice summary and all of you for the pictures we hope to gather for an album. From Wednesday through Sunday the ladies served over 180 meals and Lisa wanted to thank all the kitchen help; wives of chippers, Eileen Landau, Margo Seymour, Diane Meyers, Sue Moore and any others I have missed.....especially Estelle Hartmann who was very efficient in telling me when the garbage needed taken out (42 times in 5 days). Scott and Estelle came from the LA Chapter and support all the functions so loyally....and are a lot of fun.
John Moore and Charley D'Ambrogi brought up 50 chairs from Marin in their trucks and saved us a lot of cost to rent them. Charley BBQ's all Saturday afternoon. Thanks to both.
Everyone wants to do it again, but its never as good the second time so lets look forward to other chapters having similar get togethers for chipping. We are going to take a chipping break and be in Hawaii from May 1 to 22nd. (Honolulu Elks have a hidden game room and chips tho'). Again, thanks for the attendance....Mel and L
