Alan, we have flown twice on National from Dallas to Las Vegas on National and have been pleased both times - the extra leg room really helps and the food was good for an airline. We received in the mail a coupon to use their hospitality room in Las Vegas airport and were quite impressed - free drinks in Las Vegas, what a novel idea. Just make sure you carry on baggage you have a bag with wheels as it is in the new terminal and it is a long hike from the ticket counter to the gate. I think you got a great deal on the price, it is more expensive to fly to on National from Texas to Las Vegas. Have a great trip and see you at the show.
