I agree with two points, if you haven't been to Las Vegas recently the strip is the place to stay. I agree with John, I have stayed at Circus Circus it is reasonable and the rooms in the tower are very nice. If you don't have a car Circus Circus is quite a way down on the strip and two other casinos mentioned - Harrah's, which I have stayed at is nice, and Imperial Palace, which I have not stayed at, are both in the middle of the strip. You will be surprised at how much it has changed. I do not live in Las Vegas but go every couple of months and there is always a change. I am sure you will have a great trip and a wonderful birthday. It is too bad you cannot go when the show is, great time to meet a lot of members.
