Now THAT is my kind of classic rock!

I met Sheryl Crow when I was still doing concert production a few years ago. Nice lady! It was about a month before her first album hit the charts, she was playing for the door ($3 or $4 cover charge at a nightclub) + accomodations (3 rooms at the Holiday Inn and dinner).

The one thing I miss about working production on the small venue circuit: Got to meet some great artists, either just before they hit the big time or twenty years after they hit it.
