Like many of the others, I started collecting a few chips from the casinos I gambled in. That lead to other chips from other casinos, which lead to casinos that were long closed.

I mainly collect table chips and a very few LE's that strike my fancy, as long as the chip has been put out on the tables. I do not collect any of the chips that the cage keeps behind the windows and only "sell" to collectors. As many people have said, to me they are a piece of merchandise that the casino makes and sells at a profit.

Collectors collect for fun and enjoyment, investors collect for the money.
