I agree with a lot of what Jim Episale has said and would add that it takes me to the places that I was never able to have gone. Meet the people that I read about about from that particular club, etc. I once collected the antique chips and collectibles from Dale Seymour’s book. I have sold that collection because it had no special history like the illegals do. The research dug up do to records and other reading material have made this a very fascinating hobby. I have used the word “hobby” in that last sentence for a reason. This is a hobby for me and only that. When this becomes a business, I will stop. I love the people that I meet in this hobby. All very interesting people in their own right. I think now this is really a lot of the draw for me. Meeting people who do the same weird thing that I do, collect CHIPS!
