The Bon Bini Casino was in the Great Bay Hotel from 1968 to 1973 according to a woman I spoke to in 1997 at the St. Maarten Tourist Agency in New York City.
I had acquired a number of the chips pictured below, so the search began. No chippers had heard of the place.
Incidentally, Bon Bini means “welcome” in Papiamento, the native language of Curacao and other of the “ABC” islands in the Caribbean. Not many speak it on St. Maarten, but Bon Bini must be a well-known expression in the Caribbean, so I learned.
