Why not consider a lotto like drawing for some obsolete and even a high end or two chip? Drawings are a sure winner for fund raising used by a number of organizations. A small fee from a large number of persons--say $5 each could net the club some small but valuable change. If we could get some valuable contributions we could have periodic drawings throughout the day on the floor and at the auction. While the donors would not be able to claim a tax deduction, I'll bet many of us have a chip or two we would part with to help the club? If this idea has surfaced before and sunk from lack of support, trash it. <g>
