I spoke to my travel agent today in order to book my airfare to the convention. I asked about cruise packages to the Caribbean during the hurricane season & here's what she came up with.
Departing every Sunday after 10/22, out of Ft. Lauderdale, the Grand Princess. The ship sails to St. Thomas, St. Maarten & an out island. $799 per person includes port charges. NO BIG DEAL, but I saw this ship in port a few weeks ago & it's humongous!!!!

Departs 9/24 from San Juan, Carnival Destiny. Ports of call. San Juan, St. Thomas, Antigua, Guadeloupe, Aruba & back to San Juan. NOW THESE ARE PORTS WORTH VISITING!!
$629 inside, cruise only, with port charges of $135 per person.
