I know what you mean.
Last year we stayed at Caesars on a comp and got a great new room in the new tower. But it was a hassle getting to the Orleans, even with the shuttle bus from the Barbary.
It's always easier to run up to your room to put chips away or get more chips, when you're staying there.
Maybe I'll try a split this year with some nights at the Trop and some at another hotel.
