Mirrored ceilings in the rooms in the Island Tower, rooms ok value, worn but, umm, "refreshed". Convention facilities and easy access to self park on 1st floor of Island Tower. Newer renovation to the rooms of Paradise Tower with access from casino. Motel-like Garden rooms. Calypso 24-hr resturant has good food, dodgy service...try Pyramid Cafe at the Luxor or Studio Cafe at MGM. Buffett?...I don't eat at places with "sneeze guards". Self park is easy from light off Tropicana, first driveway east of valet. Four Corners great location with access to MGM/Bally's monorail, tram to Excal, Madalay Bay, and Luxor and close to Monte Carlo end of Bellagio/MC tram. 8pm Dueling Pianos at Times Square Bar, NYNY a lot of fun. Krispy Kreme-sugared brats roaming Excaliber swinging 12-ft plastic swords not fun. Las Vegas is Spanish for "busted escalator". Have fun!
