A German casino (Bayerische Spielbanken) recently got delivery of 65-crates of jetons and plaques which totals over 20-million Euros. Though the rack is going to their four different properties, 20-million Euros is a lot of money. I'm looking at color pictures of the chips and plaques. Jetons: 2, 5, 10 and 100 Euro w/ lunette; plaques: 1.000 and 5.000 Euro w/ custom lunettes. The manufacturer Bourgogne et Grasset coined the name for their new product: Eurojetons and Europlaques...in which the customer can customize the lunettes to whatever shape they want along with incorporating improved security technology. Speculation in France is that a few more Nevada casinos will be incorporating jetons and plaques into their inventory in the near future.
