Hi Chuck. Glad to see your feeling better. Yes, Katie really hit the nail on the head. I took a week off from Christmas to New Years last year so I could do some stuff around the house. I spent the WHOLE week working millennium chips. Whenever a new chip, like the Fitz snapper or the new Cal Neva $1, comes out, I can count on spending several nights, maybe a weekend, doing nothing else. If my time is work anything at all, it's worth more than I make on these chips. I justify it because:
1) It helps pay for my habit, er hobby. I wouldn't have some nice chips in my collection if I didn't have this little "justification."
2) I meet a lot of really nice people, and I get the satisfaction of feeling like I'm making chips available to them they might not find so easy to get otherwise. There are a lot of people running Vegas chip services. I have no idea who else supplies Reno chips to the masses.
I have absolutely NO sympathy for people who think my prices are too high, and I should fetch them chips at face out of the goodness of my heart. Thank you so much for your insightful comments, Katie. Everyone should walk a mile in our bubble mailers. Like most of us, Chuck has a full time "regular" job. As many chips as come out in Vegas, and as many customers as he must have, I have no idea how he ever has time for anything else.
