By coincidence (1) there was a recent post here inquiring about Mermaid mold chips (which happen to be current and rather common), and (2) I just received a box of Mermaid mold chips from someone in Florida.

They are in mint condition and are hot-stamped “Gulf Coast Dealers School.” (Can anyone ID them?) They are not plastic. Perhaps they are nylon composition. They are fairly heavy, make a dull thud when dropped on a table.
