The Olympus does take great pictures. Even better than the Sony Mavica FD88 I just upgraded to! I stayed with Sony because I like being able to use a floppy disk. That way I can take pictures & then quickly make a copy of the disk right off of the Camera & give the pictures to anyone to take with them. Not to mention being able to just put it in my A drive & have the pictures on my Computer in no time flat. I also like being able to get about an inch away from a chip to take a picture of it like the chip below. There are trade offs with both Cameras, but, for someone looking for a Digital Camera I would suggest either the Olympus or Sony. The others don't match up. The FD88 also has 1.3 mega pixels (1280 x 960 image size) & a 16X Zoom. Andy - Las Vegas
