CJ chips would always have shiny hats. In addition, you will also find long(er) canes on Christys. You have to be careful though, since "long canes" DO NOT automatically mean that its a Christy. There are also Burt Company H&C's, which would have the long canes, but they LACK the shiny hats. The hats on Christys are always shiny and "smooth". You can also tell by the shape of the inserts too. LMK if you want to see some examples of what I mean by the shape of the inserts.

Another easy way of telling is that Christys are usually much more expensive.(g)
