Gentlemen: You are all dealing with a half loaf. The ABC Islands and the Netherlands Antilles are not the same places legally. In 1954, the Netherlands gave independent governing ststus to its holdings in the Caribbean. The "A" in the "ABC" islands stands for Aruba. However, Aruba was given a governing status separate from that of the other islands. The "B" and the "C" of the the "ABC" islands, Bonaire and Curacao, together with the islands of St Maarten,, Saba, and St. Eustatia were grouped together into a confederation which is legally known as Netherlands Antilles. On June 23, 2000, St. Maarten will hold a referendum to decide whether it will pull out of the confederation and go it alone like Aruba. I have visited Aruba, Curacao, and ST Maarten (twice) in the last three years, ( I just returned from St Maarten last week), and I am sure of my facts. I also have done extensive research on CJ & Jk and have several chips bearing those initials. I have authenticated the origins of the chips and their use and their relationship to Jones and Kozlof with the surviving principals of the original casino operations. I am not speculating but KNOW the facts.
