My Union Pacific calendar features Las Vegas in April so I thought I'd share it. UP also claims Las Vegas was a creation of Union Pacific. They say it started out as a water stop and blossomed into a gambling Mecca thanks in large part to extensive promotion and advertising by Union Pacific. The city even had its own train "The City of Las Vegas," which during the 1950s featured the futuristic "Aerotrain."
