Here is an example of a back up chip.

The Sunset red insert $100 was on the tables opening day. The cage mgr calls it the Grand Opening $100. That makes the brown insert "The back Up chip"

Red insert was pulled after a few days and the back up brown insert chip has been on the tables since and are very worn. I guess that makes the Grand Opening/red insert the new "Back up Chip" and the brown insert original "Back Up Chip" THE RACK CHIP.
