Seems to me there's two ways of looking at picking up an extra hard-to-find chip. One is, "Great, I have an extra for my friend. I know he'll be pleased. And I know if he picks up an extra hard-to-find chip in his travels, he'll return the favor." The second way is "Gee, I bet I can find someone, maybe on Ebay, who will pay me big bucks for this chip." On the surface it seems like more have the latter attitude. But maybe that's only because those with the former attitude are swapping quietly out of the "public eye."
