Once again, Bob Orme does not know what he's talking about. I placed my chip up for bid on Ebay THREE DAYS AFTER TROPICANA ANNOUNCED THAT THEY WERE ALL SOLD OUT. The fact is that a $50 opening bid is a fair one in my opinion and is commensurate with the value of the only other $5 L.E. chip of 500 issued in Atlantic City history!

ANY opening bid I place on ANY chip that I post on Ebay is none of the business of Bob Orme's. It's not his chip to sell. If I had placed an opening bid of $100, what business would that be of Mr. Orme? This chip is no different than any other chip for sale in the marketplace. If the price is too high, don't bid on it. If you can find the chip cheaper elsewhere, go buy it. Ebay is not the final authority on a chip's worth. Bidders determine that. How a guy in New Jersey, sitting on two dozen of these chips can "manipulate" the market.... someone else (other than Bob Orme who has an axe to grind) will have to explain that one to me. EOM
