The topic of emailing second highest bidder has come up before.
I know I'm missing the point here....that's why I'm asking...
Let's say I put a chip up for auction on ebay..highest bidder
wins...sends his money..I ship chip...blah, blah. If I only have
ONE of these chips (which is the case with most ebay auctions that
I have seen...Quantity 1..) then why is it such a big deal that some
one emails the 2nd highest bidder to offer them the chip they didn't get?
I mean, if you only have one...what difference does it make to the seller??
Unless, of course, you really DO have more than one and you use ebay
to ferret out those that want the chip and sell it to them without
having to pay the ebay fees...
So, someone please 'splain this to me.
