Very intersting stuff....I'm inclined to think as you do on
who would prevail in the event of a lawsuit between a chip
holder and the casino. I would even venture to say that it
wouldn't matter whether the chip was an LE or a regular house
chip. I have never seen it posted anywhere in any casino that
the chips you may have in your pocket belong to the casino and
must be surrendered upon request. Now that doesn't mean that I
believe there is no such law. But how many people would know about
this law? And before you say, "Ignorance of the law is no defense"
doesn't a business have to post a document somewhere within easy
viewing of the customers in order to successfully win a lawsuit
pertaining to that violation....? Seems like I remember reading
or hearing about something like that.
