Horseshoe-Gardena has been closed quite a while -- at least 10 to 15 years ago, maybe more. There are several series of chips from this card club. Also, there were various denominations of H&C (Paulson) chips made around the time the club closed. Evidently, they never shipped, because Paulson had them for sale in their retail store for less than $1 each, regardless of denomination. (Or perhaps these chips were made after the club closed.) Either way, I regard this latest issue as a "fantasy" or "never issued" set. They look nice, and I have a set, but just warning you so you don't overpay for this latest set.
