Hey Mel; Our airline "bump" awards are just like money in the bank to me. If Brenda and I use the AA certificates for the weekend fish-heads fry at Tahoe, then we've got to pay cash for our July trip to the Vegas convention....

If we played the "bump" game again for the Tahoe shindig, we might not ever get there on time..... that's IF we got bumped a couple of times on the way out. I understand that Bruce Landau loves fish heads; particularly that soft spot right behind the eye. You can give our share to Bruce and Eileen. <g>

It's hard work accumulating these awards. One year on the way to the Vegas convention, we never left the Chicago airport that day. Took three bumps all on the same day until they ran out of flights to put us on ... so American Airlines put us up in a nice Chicago Airport overnight, gave us each a dinner voucher at the hotel, and put on on the next flight out first thing in the morning ..... and gave us First Class seats to boot! We were ahead something like $1800 before we even touched down in Vegas!

What a country!!
