Don, The Lucayan Beach Casino is closed for extensive renovation. The hotel is up & running. When I was in Freeport last weekend, a number of the taxi drivers said that the casino was due to re-open sometime in November. I remember my last trip to the casino for the expressed purpose of liberating a number of roulettes. The casino was in a state of disrepair, had a musty smell, nasty dealers & no class. I pocketed a stack of chips & was on my way out the door, when a security guard asked me to return the chips I had harvested. He walked me back to the roulette table, where the pit boss made me color up. My last words to him were, "I hope your casino goes out of business & you have to find a real job!" Sorry, Gene! I was really p----d!
