I have no problem with someone saving any image that I scan and post anywhere on the internet if they are doing so for personal viewing. Pirating scans to use to make a profit (using them to illustrate an eBay auction) is at best lazy, and at worst unethical. I'll freely grant the use of any scan, as long as I'm asked first. If the guy isn't willing to ask, he's on my sh*tlist, and defiance (sp?) in the name of the claim there are no copyrights on the scan shows just how indifferent this individual is to taking advantage of the work other people are willing to do that he isn't.

In a word, it sucks, and puts him in a very bad light.
